Robert L. Collins, 1973

Robert L Collins (d. Feb. 2000), ruled Chicago radio for a number of years after his time in Milwaukee, and he was the brilliant PD and air talent at WOKY in 1973. He is featured here on his afternoon show.

At the time this composite was produced, the WOKY staff included Collins, Bob Barry, Jim Brown, Johnny Dark, Ted Anthony, Craig Roberts and Gene Johnson.

Opening narration is by Ron Huntsman of Nashville. This is a grand example of a late model, expertly-programmed personality-based Top 40 station!
