Roby Yonge was still employed by WABC in January of 1969, but while on vacation visiting his alma mater (WQAM/Miami) he spontaneously "took over" Clark Moore's show, and did two hours on the air there. The music has been restored to about 90 minutes of that early morning show.

Apparently, the original PAMS jingles were in daily use, but the wonderful oldies were selected by Yonge, who takes all the time he needs to embellish those selections. He also chooses to "unscrew the little light that comes on when you talk too much".
