Roby Yonge is featured on WABC from February 13, 1968. It's unfortunate that Roby didn't get more time at WABC.

This exhibit was created for a REWOUND show. I am surprised at the outrageous agc on the original recording, where the average noise level is only 3db below maximum volume. I suspect it was made with an early radio-cassette recorder with that built-in AGC, or something.

Not only has the music been restored for this exhibit — some of the jingles and spots have been restored as well. For this online presentation, Rob's original contribution has been processed to more closely simulate the original source. It's still a fun listen and the only thing that's over-processed is the original recording.
