This aircheck of WINS is the best I've heard, not just for the excellent fidelity and flawless restoration by contributor and master Restorian Rob Frankel, but for the delightful mix of music from October, 1964. The playlist in this 72 minutes is AWESOME! I remind our subscribers that our music license prohibits listing the songs you will hear, so just listen and enjoy.

In the opening minutes, Murray The K, recovering from a cold and sick leave, introduces Mad Daddy, and the rest of this wonderful exhibit is almost all tape-echo and sponge rubber hall with the head shrinker's delight. It's nearly inconceivable that radio was once this much fun and the music was so good, and yet - here it is.
