No opening or closing? It is Dan Ingram's presence that requires that the nubile maidens be brought forth, and even though we are not certain that all of this aircheck came from the same day in October of 1973, this exceptionally clean WABC recording features a lot of great Ingram in a short 24 minutes, unscoped. The 6-minute 'scoped version is even more intense. When you stack Dan back to back, he's very dense, so to speak.

Out there kickin' on the echo chamber.. Exhaustion has set in! The perfect liner for those Top 40 ballads that put the audience to sleep. Ingram is a genius, even if he doesn't want to do an intro OR a close.
