The music on this exhibit of Dan Ingram on WABC was restored by contributor Rob Frankel for the 2006 presentation of WABC REWOUND, an annual Memorial Day special feature.

Now, with that out of the way, we can say it's always a joy to hear the extemporaneous wit and off-the-wall brilliance of Dan Ingram, absolutely one of Top 40's greatest jocks. And it's great fun to hear WABC (with reasonable fidelity) in 1966! Can't believe that Slim Harpo was #16 in NY! Great record, (big hit in the southeast) but only a mid-charter on Billboard.
