. . . That's Carly Simon. She looks a lot like Mick Jagger . . . [RESTORED BY ROB FRANKEL. DESCRIPTION BY UNCLE RICKY.] This is Part One of a three part exhibit featuring Buffalo Dick Birch on his WCBS-FM morning show from July 12, 1971. All music has been restored by contributor Rob Frankel. As usual, the format defies common descriptions, but was obviously targeted to young adults. . . . What a great and clever adlib . . . [RESTORED BY ROB FRANKEL. DESCRIPTION BY UNCLE RICKY.] This is the final segment of a three part exhibit featuring Buffalo Dick Birch on his WCBS-FM morning show from July 12, 1971. All music has been restored by contributor Rob Frankel. Once again, the newscasts were lost to time, but there's a wide, wide variety of music, and at least one kooky Chuck Blore jingle we haven't heard before. Birch sounds like he's having a good time, though he does describe himself as "Downer Dick" - because it's a Monday, after all. COMMENTS FOR PART THREE, DICK BIRCH, WCBS-FM, JULY 12 1971 |
