. . . We are the very first radio station in San Diego to bust their Cherry Bomb . . . [CONTRIBUTION, RESTORATION BY ROB FRANKEL. DESCRIPTION BY UNCLE RICKY] Beaver Cleaver (who is NOT Jerry Mathers, but actually stealth radio performer Ken Levine) hosts the first hour of tightly scoped, restored, narrow-band and authentic KFMB-FM/B100 in San Diego. There are two more hours to come. Beaver has an issue with Glynnis O'Connor, who co-starred with Robby Benson in Ode To Billy Joe, the 1976 film based on the Bobbie Gentry song of 1967. He's giving away tickets to the movie, so he has a good excuse. The TV commercial he references, where Ms. O'Connor was a spokesperson for a deodorant, is here on REELRADIO, on The Real Don Steele TV Show from 1974.
