To plug the hole between the departure of Russ "Weird Beard" Knight and the return of "Lee Alan, On the Horn," WXYZ brought over a popular deejay from England, named John Benson, for a big two-week promotion at the height of "Beatlemania."

This recording features some special Halloween production as well as special "British" show effects dreamed up and produced by WXYZ's creative production director, Bruce Miller. This was Benson's final broadcast over WXY-ZED, Halloween, 1964.
