Apart from that burst of bravado, though, The Slim One doesn't get a whole lot of room to assert her superiority in this June, 1984 sample of the legendary KFRC.

Blame the formatics. Recently-arrived PD Mike Phillips is running an ultra-tight ship, with a lot of spaces on the hot clock obviously labeled "no talk". Slimmer's longest bits are weather and a PSA. She gives those her all, though, before handing off to Don Sainte-Johnn, who's under the same constraints.

We also hear some Bobby Ocean promo work and overall, a strong, energetic sounding CHR presentation.
