Jack Armstrong, the granddaddy of high energy Top 40 jocks (on killer stations like WKBW, KFI and KFRC) in his last major market gig — with his alter ego, The Gorilla.

A few seconds of midday jock Christopher Lance lead off the aircheck, with the first few songs in the "Top 35 Count-up" at the end.

Jack Armstrong passed away almost 23 years after this aircheck, on March 22, 2008.
