The remarkable Mister Stone was known as Johnny Holiday at KCBQ/San Diego in 1959, as Johnny Mitchell at KHJ in 1965 and Sebastian Stone at KFRC/San Francisco in 1967. 440:International says that his birth name was Gerald Edward Phillips. Mr. Phillips passed away on Nov 11, 1987. Lots of jingles in this one, almost one before every song! Sebastian sounds really comfortable, pleasant and engaging. He's a terrific midday host. The first and last songs were restored.
