Jim Hampton says he was only 20 years old in 1966 when he started at ABC O&O WXYZ in Detroit, Michigan. From August of that year, Hampton wisecracks through PSAs, warped records and wrong sides on this short sample of his overnight show. The Anita Kerr jingles promise Personality Plus, and that's what we get.

The reference to Joey Reynolds was unexpected. Did Reynolds work in Detroit at the time, or was he simply so popular on Buffalo's WKBW that he got an honorary mention?
