[Description by Uncle Ricky] The music of 1979 does not tarnish the timeless genius of Dan Ingram on this Tuesday afternoon in January. The FM competition might have been stereo, but these were the Top 40 hits of the day, and WABC has some kind of ID between every record. The reverb is sounding good, and veteran reporter Bob Hardt has the news. The "I Love New York" contest is underway, and Dan's supersonic intro following his live promo tag is breathtaking. Pretty good AM fidelity, and the station was tight!
