This aircheck from December of 1965 demonstrates that KYNO, in Fresno, California had the help of important people in the first year of Boss.

Dale Dorman went on to KFRC by 1967, and WRKO after that, but his performance here supports my suspicion that great talent is born, not made.

Dale Dorman passed away on October 25, 2014 following a long illness. He was 71.
