This interview was broadcast on KYNO-AM (1300) in Fresno, California, on September 1, 2008.

KJWL-FM and KYNO-AM Owner John Ostlund and Production Manager Jim Roberts did not know they were recording or broadcasting the last interview with the legendary Bill Drake at the time. Drake died of lung cancer on November 29, 2008. Jim Roberts says he recorded this interview on August 29, 2008.

Bill Drake mostly kept to himself in recent years. We believe this was the last time he granted an interview.
