This is Cousin Brucie's 1991 Christmas Oldies Party, in STEREO. This program was recorded on November 26, 1991, and scheduled for broadcast on London's Capital Gold between Christmas and New Year of 1991.

Contributor Dave Saviet, the CBS engineer who produced this program, offered this background:

"This was a short-lived Saturday night program which aired on Capital Gold in London, 1991. This program made very early use of what was then switched 56/ISDN technology. Bruce Morrow was in our studio in NYC and his co-host Paul Burnett was in the Capital Gold studio in London. With only a list of what songs and what features they'd be playing, they would ad-lib the voice tracks for a two-hour program each week. I'd take the tracks and edit and mix the show into a finished product. The results, in my opinion, were quite impressive. I don't think this show sounds voice-tracked or canned in any way. It's really a tribute to the talents of Bruce Morrow and his co-host, Paul Burnett."
