Ron O'Brien was running wide-open for the early evening slot on legendary WQXI, Atlanta. O'Brien's volume is pretty much maxxed throughout this 1972 aircheck.

This (April/May?) treasure includes that strange and memorable not-really-acapella jingle that QUIXIE used in the early 1970's — and a genuine Top 40 music blend that tries hard to keep those European-American teenage males listening to AM. (Edgar Winter & White Trash?)

Ron O'Brien passed away on April 27, 2008.
