Description by Uncle Ricky (June 7, 2011)

In this June 3, 2011 video report from Julie Tremmel of FOX 23 NEWS (WXXA-TV) in Albany, New York, we learn that a powerful tornado on June 1, 2011 in Western Massachusetts caused serious damage to Media Preservation Foundation archives.

The tapes and machines were stored in a warehouse in Springfield, Massachusetts. MPF founder Tracy Carman appears in the video beginning at 2:31.
