Courtesy of Pete Tesoro, from September 20, 1971, just under 13 almost-contiguous hours of KRLA, Pasadena/Los Angeles, recorded between 5:45AM and 8:00PM on the first day of their new "Phase One" format. Selections from current and re-current albums are mixed with current singles, but there are few oldies. Top talent is featured, including Don Burns, Tom Murphy, Jay Stevens, Shadoe Stevens and Lee Simms. This recording varies in fidelity, growing better as the hours roll out, but disintegrating into noise and interference in the final 30 minutes. Total Time: 12 hours, 47 minutes, 47 seconds.
