Narrated by Bill Drake and initially syndicated by Drake-Chenault in 1981, this is the last version of the iconic "History Of Rock & Roll" created at KHJ in 1968 and 1969.
The format is a bit different. The program frequently jumps chronologically from one year to another, usually to show the lasting influence of a particular artist. Chart Sweeps are used to demonstrate the most popular songs of a particular year.
